Typhoid fever is a serious bacterial infection caused by Salmonella typhi, spread through contaminated food and water. Get Vaccinated at Least 2 Weeks Before Travel
Typhim Vi requires 14 days to reach full protection. Book your appointment as early as possible — ideally 6–8 weeks before departure.

Vaccine Schedule & Duration of Protection
Typhim Vi: 1 dose, 14 days before travel
A single intramuscular injection provides protection within 14 days. Duration: 2–3 years. Booster recommended every 2–3 years for ongoing travellers.
Vivotif: 4 capsules over 7 days
Take one capsule every other day (day 1, 3, 5, 7) on an empty stomach. Complete the course at least 7 days before travel. Duration: 5 years (some guidelines allow 7 years).
